NTD - Sampling Requirements and Guidance

Length: 2 hours

Audience:
This webinar is intended for NTD reporters. No prior knowledge of sampling theory is required.

Description:

NTI, in cooperation with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), is offering a webinar to review the soon to be released new NTD Sampling Manual package, which includes new Circular requirements and guidance for estimating passenger miles traveled through random sampling. Topics will include:

  • Advantages of the new Circular
  • Sampling options and their pros and cons
  • New NTD Sampling Manual (new Circular requirements and tools for calculating statistics to meet those requirements)
  • Best practices to collect and accumulate sampled data

Participants will log into the webinar to access the graphic content and dial into an audio-teleconference. An FTA representative will discuss the requirements, guidance, and answer questions.

Fee:
Tuition shall be waived for federal, state and local government employees who work in transportation or related areas.
