Length:
3 Day(s)
Audience:
This course is restricted to staff of transit systems and agencies that have received funding to support their capital projects from the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA).
Description:
Organizations and programs must be ready to address the specific needs of each grantee and each project. The 2003 guidelines reflect many changes in national policies, and project and construction management involves many new techniques and approaches. This course uses the guidelines to teach the process of good project management to grantees with major capital projects who are required to implement Project Management Plans, as well as grantees with smaller capital projects.Topics: - Purpose of Project Management Planning
